French Alps!

This past Wednesday we went skiing and snowboarding in the french alps at a place called Font-Remu. Mom skied and Connor snowboarded! I stayed at the hotel to finish my cyber class. They said the snow was perfect and they had a blast! Connor is becoming quite the snowboarder..He may become the new Shaun White soon! (For those of you who don't know, Shaun White is a famous snowboarder!)

We stayed in a very nice little B&B right on the hill. 

Parade

Last week we were also in a "parade"..not gonna lie it was probably the weirdest thing I have ever experienced. There were old people wearing big fake noses and playing wooden oboes and all of the kids were dressed in costumes. We all walked behind two guys in creepy clown costumes holding up a big cardboard robot. We weren't sure if that's like their leader or what...! Then they all started dancing and singing in a circle. After we walked around the whole town everyone went back to the "Salle des fetes" for crepes and music (I went home and did cyber school instead!). The best part was this cute little boy dressed up as a tiger!! I wanted to take him! It was a lovely experience...lovely. :)

Windy beach day!

Last week we went to the beach just to check it out before summer. It was super windy so we were pretty much the only people there. We climbed some rocks and found loads of cool seashells! Luckily we didn't go there in the summer because after we got back we found out we were at a nudist beach! Yikes..

Fire

Fire = Our only source of heat..Good thing were all terrible at making them! Our british friend had to come over last night to build a fire for us! :p We got better at it though...

Switzerlaaaand

Last monday we packed up and headed to Switzerland for a couple of days! Connor and I snowboarded while mom skied. Although Connor was the only one that had proper clothes to wear (I was in lululemons and mom was in jeans), it was a lot of fun! We really enjoyed it :)

On our way out of Switzerland we stopped at the tubing park for one run and it was super sweet!! I lost my touque on the way down the tunnel!

We stopped at a very cool igloo as well - with a restaurant inside!

This is the church right beside our house! They only have mass like once a month there but it was a really nice church :)

Ziplining!

Last Saturday we went to a ziplining and different acrobatics in the trees place. It was super fun! Mom might've cried a little bit..hehe. We had to take a treacherous walk down a rocky hill to get to the place, and in the process I fell and twisted my ankle! It was an eventful day :)
